DH. 98 Mosquito PR.16 'NS639' Silver Linen Relic Display

This De Havilland DH.98 Mosquito PR.16 served with the Royal Navy from 1956 through 1959, after which it was given the civil registration G-AOCI. Stored outside for years at Thruxton, it never flew again. In spite of efforts to save it from destruction, NS639, and several other Mosquitoes, were set afire in October 1960.

This original silver- painted linen was removed from this aircraft’s rudder in 1958 and was acquired by Ron Cole in 2022.

Each wall-hanging display is 13x19-inches (including frame) and is ready-to-hang.
