RCAF Avro Lancaster B.X (Mk.X) Relic Display

A rare opportunity to own a piece of World War II history! Aluminum section of Royal Canadian Air Force Avro Lancaster B.X, combined with Ron Cole's original artwork of this aircraft in an 11 x 17-inch wall-hanging display.

This Lancaster was one of 430 built by Victory Aircraft Limited in Malton, Canada in 1943. It was sent to England in 1944, served in combat, and was returned to Canada in late 1945. It was stored outdoors until 1955, when it was stripped of wing panels to build a farm shed - and the remainder of the aircraft was scrapped. This under-wing panel was sent to Cole's Aircraft by the Canadian Warplane Heritage in 2020 (see photos). The pieces attached to each of these displays has been cut from this larger section.
