B-17 Relic Display 'Parker's Madhouse'
Authentic aluminum fragment from B-17G 'Parker's Madhouse' (serial number 43-37990) of the 384 BG / 547 BS paired in a beautiful wall-hanging display with original artwork of this specific B-17Gs in action by Ron Cole.
'Parker's Madhouse took part in the famous Operation Wesseling on October 3, 1944. It was struck by flak and crash landed into a barn near the Belgian town of Tremelo. All of the crew survived.
This piece of aluminum skin was salvaged from the roof of a nearby farmhouse, where it had helped plug leaks since 1944!
